It’s a shame that we don’t seem to have a sense of community in our community.
It’s a shame that the only time brothers descend on the house of prayer is when a gathering comes to town.
It’s a shame that we can build national and transnational communities which meet weekly in far away towns, but we cannot manage the daily trek down to the mosque for Isha prayer.
It’s a shame that we have no investment in the place we live.
