“We love X community. They’re the most integrated group in the country.”

Oh, give us a break.

As with all people, there are the good and the bad.

There are those that are kind, generous, and charitable.

But there are also those who are violent, intolerant, and thuggish.

Every vice you identify in the community supposedly set apart as a unique scourge on British society, you can find amongst others.

Drug gangs. Fraudsters. Sexual coercion. Sectarian violence. Knife crime. Domestic violence. Racism. Threats and intimidation.

Some people are upstanding members of society. Some have dedicated their lives to campaigning for social justice.

And some are just jolly nice folk, found playing football with their mates, just getting along with everyone. Wonderful.

But you’ll find such folk amongst the despised community, too.

Stop romanticising some communities and villifying others.

In every single community, you will discover the good, the bad, and the ugly.
