I realised today that I haven’t been climbing ladders.
“Get yourself on the housing ladder.”
We just bought a house we could afford and stayed in it.
“Where are you on the career ladder?”
Job wise, I’ve never been thinking long-term plans, ascending to great heights.
“You need to climb the social ladder.”
These things don’t interest me at all. Better just to surround yourself with good people, whoever they are.
