Even Partygate pales into insignificance against the mammoth government contracts awarded to friends during the pandemic.
It could even be said that corruption is endemic in the top tiers of British society.
But, of course, nobody wants us to talk about that.
They’ll have us turning on the poor and vulnerable instead, blaming them for all of society’s ills.
