I see my role as supporting and helping others.
Facilitating for them. Providing consultancy and good advice.
In these spheres, I find myself content. I might think to myself: “I have the perfect job for me.”
But then the comparisons hit me, shaking me to my core.
If I compare myself to my peers, I only recall my lack of ambition.
I wasn’t on any kind of trajectory. I was just happy to have a job at last, and so I rested on my laurels.
It’s so easy to be knocked off course by comparing yourself to others.
