The nature of this life is that it’s a testing realm. There’s no escaping this. Everyone will be tested.

People say to me that they intend to migrate in order to escape the perceived trials of raising children in Britain.

What do they think they will find in their new home? Some kind of utopia, unburdened by the trials of the world?

It’s almost as if they’re saying they intend to outrun divine decree. As if they could!

No, but they will only encounter different tests in their new location. What those tests will be, only God knows, but they are inevitable.

If in doubt, ask those who migrated before you. Who knows, you may embrace a higher standard of living but walk straight into the blizzard of family conflict.

There is nowhere you can go in the world where you will not be tested. It’s one of the laws of the universe, just as real as gravity.

There is no soul on the earth who is not tested. This is the promise of God. The only question is how you will respond to your tests.
