Back in the day, we began our journey to God by meditating on a short collection of narrations, which seemed to encapsulate the intent of our faith.
How do people commence today? With weird YouTube videos delivered by raucus influencers, yet to tame even their own egos?
Or with a crash course in the cause célèbre of politicised activists, who whenever challenged respond, “Don’t bring religion into this!”
Or with something which resembles dressing up, or acting a role, or playing identity politics, or pretending to be what they’re not?
May those beginning start out with solid foundations, shunning the vapid banality of our era. May they start with that which benefits them, raising them to great heights.
