If you justify the mass killing of civilians and destruction of their infrastructure, you’re an extremist.
It doesn’t matter whether you wear a suit and tie, or a balaclava. It makes no difference if you speak impeccable English with a posh accent, or speak a foreign tongue.
Whether you invoke the defence of Western values or resistance to Western hegemony is irrelevant. Once you cross into justifying the unjustifiable, you have lost the moral argument.
I tire as much of the monstrous intellectuals articulating their horrendous advocacy for crimes against humanity as I do of apologists for terrorism.
Whatever they tell you, the proponents of both are equal. Morality is not contingent on whose side you are on. If you justify the killing of civilians you are no different from those you castigate on the other side.
Be with those striving to preserve life and create a safe and healthy environment for all. Don’t side with anyone who justifies the killing of innocents, no matter how smooth or convincing their rhetoric.
