I have an invisibility cloak. I don’t know where I got it from, but I have always carried it with me. I don’t exactly know how it works. All I know is that whenever I utter a word, it seems to activate immediately, causing others to carry on regardless.
In a team meeting just a moment ago, it seems that not only did it make me invisible, but it also squished time, so that two people speaking a minute apart could address one another directly without needing to acknowledge my input at all.
It works just as well in the virtual realm. Back in the day, when participating in online forums, I could interject on any number of threads without anyone in the world taking notice. It’s as if there is a forcefield which surrounds me, rendering me unseen.
Don’t ask me then why I disappeared. Maybe I did, maybe I didn’t.
