I agree, there is a great conspiracy at play, the protagonists many, representing a multitude of interests and causes.
The problem is, the biggest conspirator happens to be ourselves. We are brought down mostly by our refusal to live by the ideals we preach to others.
While it’s true that paparazzi, journalists, political foes, disgruntled friends and sectarian opponents may all be out to get us, it does not change that we conspired against ourselves.
Who is to say we are not of those the Quran describes as those who deceive themselves? If we wrong ourselves, may God have mercy upon us. But if we commit a sin and then blame it on others, God help us!
We are accountable for what we do. Others will be accountable for their own actions and intentions. In these earth shattering conspiracies, each and every protagonist will ultimately be held to account.
Realistically, the only power we have is to change what is in our hands. In short, don’t invest in conspiracies of your own in service of your base desires.
Have we not considered that God knows absolutely everything in the heavens and the earth? Does God, to whom we will all return, not already know everything?
