I remember now why I don’t engage with the wider community all that much anymore. People like me are not considered part of it. And that is fine. Absolutely fine. I have zero interest in your activism either.

In some senses , it is surprising that people perpetually blasted as the racial other still take up the path, but I guess that’s just because there are still people with good hearts seeking the Oneness of God. This path transcends all made-up racial identities. Maybe it’s what appealed to some of us way back. But these days, celebrated Muslims blast their racism about all over the place.

I get it. People with a melanin deficiency are very annoying, especially if they have opinions of their own. These weirdos only make up 3% of UK Muslims, so really should know their place. Clearly they have filled their quota.

Yeah, except Islam has nothing to say about your ethnicity at all. There are clear ayat that explain what matters to the Lord of all the Worlds… your actions and your beliefs:

“…those are the ones who have been true, and it is those who are the righteous.” — Quran 2:177
