When I was a lad, my Sunday School teacher complained about those who would call their children kids.
“We’re not goats!” she protested.
Showing my age, I now address the yoof the same.
“Stop calling the girls bitches,” I demand. “We’re not dogs.”
But here, there’s a chasm between us. This is apparently the same as “sick” meaning “really good.”
Naturally, I’m not convinced.
