Our tribe will always be better than their tribe. Such is tribalism.
Our nation is better than theirs. Our culture… Our language… Our civilisation…
We are better than them.
However, introspective faith doesn’t sanction such pride. On the contrary, we learn:
“O mankind! Lo! We have created you male and female, and have made you nations and tribes that you may know one another. Lo! the noblest of you, in the sight of God, is the best in conduct. Lo! God is knowing, aware.”
