Sky News has done to poor Tommy what the media — and indeed he himself — have been doing to minorities for years.
That is, editing and cutting an interview to make him say what they wanted him to say, rather than what he actually said in its proper context.
“Why do you care?” you might say. After all, he is an avowed enemy of the Muslims.
We care because we oppose bearing false witness, whether for friend or foe. Our Book couldn’t be any clearer.
O you who have believed, stand firm for God, witnesses in justice, and do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just; that is nearer to righteousness. And fear God; indeed, God is fully aware of what you do.

Believers are called to witness to the truth, not play partisan games.
All who manipulate the truth should be held to account, friend or foe, for or against us.
