There I was, just limbering up for my holidays, hoping to forget about work.
And then you threw me your curveball, telling me you have a platform go-live planned right in the middle of my leave.
And since you’re going to be on leave next week yourself, would I mind liaising with your manager to ensure the necessary prerequisites are in place for launch.
Naturally, a cloud now hangs over me, which will likely follow me around throughout my holiday, as I worry about work once more.
Not exactly the relaxing respite I had in mind. I really must plan for a career change. Seriously.
