“I am right. You are wrong.”
This is the chant of the fanatic, yet to truly experience the world.
For everyone else, it’s a journey of discovery.
They may start with a hypothesis, which may be proved more or less correct.
Conversely, after much research and testing, it may turn out to be erroneous, in part or whole.
Certainly, most serious researchers would soon conclude that the more they learn, the less they know.
In the immature youth, perhaps those certainties may be forgiven. In grown adults? Less so.
For my part, with every passing day, I discover that I am mostly more wrong than right.
In truth, life humbles me daily.
