It turns out that my self-diagnosis linking my low mood to waning testosterone levels is probably completely unfounded.
So suggests my doctor.
It may be that immediately after each injection, my mood is boosted to an exaggerated high, after which levels subside to normal, giving me the feeling of melancholy.
But I don’t think so, for this low mood seems persistent, pervasive, and unshakeable. It returns too often, too inexplicably. Something else must be at play.

Assalamu Alaykum
I’m planning on starting a blog of my own – inspired in part by yours – in the upcoming months inshaAllah.
One thing I’ve noticed, is how remarkably consistent you are Allahumma Baarik; penning down your thoughts on pretty much a daily basis.
Is there any advice you could share to that end? Anything which might help a young man stay as consistent as yourself.
JazakAllah khair!
Salam alaikum.
I’ve responded to your question here:
