When I made my donation a few months ago, I specifically deselected the option of receiving future communications from you.

That had no effect, however, for you’ve been emailing and texting me regularly regardless.

But this week — oh, this week — you’ve taken the nagging to the next level, and it’s leaving a bad feeling.

You’ve sent me a text message every day this week, and twice today.

As for emails: twice today, twice yesterday, and every day before that.

But what’s this? If I click on unsubsribe again, my preferences already say no email, no sms.

Consider this: I pledged my initial donation willingly, on my own initiative.

However, now it’s getting to the point that I feel like striking you off my list of charities I support.

Don’t harangue those who have clearly already given freely. Leave us be, lest you cause us to flee.
