I should imagine that in the coming years, I will occupy a position with respect to AI similar to that of my tech-reluctant colleagues.
I have spent the whole of my working life using the Internet, so it comes as second nature to me.
But AI is something I don’t really get. And so I predict I will get left behind as this takes off.
My skillset may soon even be redundant, except in bridging the gap for the digitally excluded.
I will be part of a new generation of the tech-reluctant, scratching my head at this newfangled thing loved by the youth.
At which point, I hope to pursue my dreams living a subsistence lifestyle on a homestead farm, with a few chickens and goats scrambling around me.
