I feel a renovation project coming on. It’s about a decade since guests last stayed with us in Küçük Ev. It served us well when the children were small, but we’ve since outgrown it. But that’s not to say it’s redundant.
As the Tiny House movement makes inroads in Türkiye, it occurs to us that we have an asset on our hands. The perfect get away for couples seeking peace and quiet, not to mention an escape from the sweltering heat of the city.
I need a project like this to occupy me, for I have a restless soul. It beats the drudgery of the nine-to-five. Perhaps I will pursue it, if the Most Merciful wills.
