Our government seems to hope we will forget it has been power for fifteen years.

Those who have actually wielded the full power of State now seek to persuade us that others instead of them are in fact in control.

With no answer to serious questions of the day, they must now resort to simple racism.

If they are to survive the next election, they must echo what they believe the vast majority think.

We can only hope that this fabled vast majority is a fiction, and that most people see right through it.

I predict a bumpy ride in the coming months. Brace yourselves for a dirty election campaign.

Expect dog whistle politics, as a powerless minority is scapegoated for all the failings of a government that has been in power for fifteen years.
