For two decades, you vehemently condemned terrorism without pause, mourning the innocents killed and maimed in every attrocity.

Then you watched a nation rain destruction down on a civilian population, murdering eight-thousand children, six-thousand women and an unknown number of innocent men.

Your response? You shrugged your shoulders. Muttered something about regrets, while nevertheless continuing to arm the belligerents to the teeth.

By your actions you have revealed that your tears for one set of dead innocents were just politics. Empty words, sorting people into worthy and unworthy.

For seventy-five days straight, we have witnessed multiple terrorist atrocities over and over, extinguishing the lives of innocent with attrocious violence.

The subtext: they deserve it. The reality: we are a despicable, heartless people, only capable of grieving when told to do so. Alone, we cannot judge right from wrong. All we have are empty words.
