Seriously need to declutter our house. Over the years we’ve accumulated so much furniture and assorted possessions from others who had much bigger houses than us as they downsized or moved away.
This the reality that hits as I try to move my home office back to our bedroom, from the extension I’ve occupied the past few years, so that our elderly guest can put it back into the use it was originally intended for.
I don’t know how our tiny house came to be jammed full with so much stuff, other than us being too polite to say no when asked. I guess the time has come to belatedly say as much, sending the excess off to a new home, aka the tip.
As for my shed, once a happy office down at the end of the garden? That’s jammed full with the overflow from the house. And in case, currently has no power, and will be too cold as winter draws in. We’re going to have to be patient the next few months.
