The pen is mightier than the sword, say some, and extremists are determined to prove this is true.
Watch as insecure governments arrest and execute mere bloggers. Watch as agents of a state murder journalists. Witness the poet thrown into jail. Watch the novelist, or translator of novels, cut down.
Is it any wonder that some of us self-censor, withdrawing at times all we once put forth? I detest extremists and their extremism. More so, because I fear them and what they may do.
