What a shame that all of the expensive education which enabled you to rise to captain of industry and board of directors did not inculcate any morality at all.

What a shame that your primary motive is the accumulation of stupendous wealth — more money than anyone could possibly need — to the extent that you can no longer see your workers or customers at all.

What a shame that you see fit to award yourself the dividends of your humongous profits, while your customers are driven into poverty before your very eyes.

What a shame that you recall none of the ancient wisdom that stands against you. Come now, weep and howl for the miseries which are coming upon you!

Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, are crying out against you, and the cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of hosts.

Letter of James 5:4

What a shame that in this time of a crisis — a crisis directly caused by your profiteering — you choose to fatten yourselves. What a shame that for all your wealth, pride and status, you have been exposed as one who knows nothing at all.
