Another day, another resignation. It was inevitable. The writing was on the wall from day one.
My other half asks me, are they going to offer you head-of and a big fat salary?
“I don’t want it,” I reply.
“Yes, you’re right,” she says, “we’re doing fine. Better to be content with what we have. We don’t need all that stress.”
Yep, we’re both resigned to our station. We’ve achieved much, regardless. It’s a blessing to have a companion content that we live within our means.
