Settled

Three busy days getting the house in order. Our first return in four years, since our aborted migration here.

For now, until the children have finished their studies, it will have to remain a holiday home. Pleasure for a few weeks at a time.

If the Most Merciful wills, one day it will be a more permanent abode.

Of course, the kids love it here, forever dissing my homeland and my people. They too would choose to stay here if they could. But the next few years are critical for their education, so they must make the most of this time while it lasts.

I will do the same, if I can.

Alhamdulilah for these blessings. Time to rest and recuperate from the stresses of the past two years, inshallah.

Alhamdulilah for the great generosity of the One.
