Listen to the chapter of the human being

Part of being human is to be grateful, so thank God for all that He has favoured you with, as He has said:

“Whatever good thing you have is from God” — Qur’an 16:53

And:

“If you would count the favours of God you cannot number them” — Qur’an 14:34

And:

“If you give thanks, I shall surely increase you” — Qur’an 14:7

And further:

“Eat of the good things with which We have provided you, and give thanks to God if it is indeed Him that you worship.” — Qur’an 2:72

The Prophet—peace be upon him—said, “Let each of you have an invoking tongue and a thankful heart.” He also said, “Faith has two halves: one is patience and the other thankfulness.”
