Mr Bowes,

I came across this site by chance and have read quite a few of the entries. I was quite disappointed when I thought you were going to close it. I understand your wanting to withdraw to where it is safer. When we are silent, we are less likely to make a mistake. But when we are silent we lose out on the opportunity to say something inspiring. To say something that will guide someone, or remind them. What I read here recently, reminded me of how God promised us a good life here on earth and the best life in the hereafter, at a time when I really needed to remember that! I know how difficult it is to accept praise or compliments and at the same time to control the ego. But I have to say, it is worth the risk of saying the wrong thing or waking up one's ego if it means saying the right thing, inspiring someone and collecting good points (<em>hasanat</em>). I believe that if your intention is pure, God will protect you from saying (writing) the wrong thing.

God bless your efforts.
