Assalaam Alaykum,

Beautiful, you expressed what I've been feeling, but couldn't put into words. I also feel out of place in modern society. How I long to just have one glimpse of how it was like in the time of our Nabi (saw) and to see him.

salaams

Salam alaikum,

I did not mention or link to the article itself, because this post was not about that article. There were just a few words within that article which led me off on this tangent. I still have not digested all that was in that article, but this is clear: the author's focus was what traditionalism means, but mine has become my heart. Tangents, tangents. This is always me.

What beautiful, beautiful words ;-)..and what a lovely thing to experience- your trip and the brotherhood at the masjid, complete with the awesome landscape...subhanAllah. Its almost like, that kind of human harmony exists in areas of peace, nature.. places where man has not transgressed and corrupted... that the way of our living, our civilisations and daily structures explains the loss of real and true brotherhood and love in humanity, even between Muslims within themselves. When the masjid becomes a token for its outer, its decor.. a place Muslims generally fit into their scedhules, rather than it being the place things should fit around.. things start to go.. wrong.

I really cannot express... but i do believe, and know is that you will for sure figure out what your heart is saying.. you're heading to something good, and SomeOne Greater is looking over this journey of realisations your heart is experiencing..

ps:- could you possibly direct us to the article you mention?
