Abroad once more

We flew into Istanbul on 30 July and have just arrived in the Black Sea, close to Turkey’s border with Georgia. The town and region where we are residing is famous all over Turkey – I am told – for its irreligious identity. It is a beautiful landscape nonetheless; its vast rock faces, miles of trees and sea.
